Lasik

Lasik is the BEST thing ever invented or created.  I can't believe within the short 10-15 minutes, it can make you see 20-20 again.  It's hard to even recall before I started wearing glasses (i think i started back in 5th grade or something).  Now i can wake up in the morning and see what time is it, i can watch tv and fall asleep not worrying the next morning my eyes gonna dry up like crazy.

Highly recommended!!

So, things are good with the new house.  We've already made it into a home, which is amazing in only one and a half weeks.  I can't wait for football season to start so we can have lots and lots of parties here.

I went to get a Lasik Consultation yesterday, and they scheduled me for Lasik procedure on August 24.  That's like in 3 weeks.  I can't imagine what it would be like when i can wake up and see everything without contacts/glasses.  It's been so long since I have perfect vision, i don't even remember what it was like... hehe.  So starting next week, I will have to wear glasses until the surgery day so they can get a more accurate measure of my eye sights and stuff.  Currently there are two different types of Lasik, conventional or custom.  Custom will help with the night vision and some other stuff (i wasn't really paying much attention, mostly i was day dreaming about how sweet it would be to not wear contacts/glasses anymore).  I think i'm going with the custom one.  Scary, but very excited at the same time.

wow, it's been awhile since the last update.  Marriage life is good if you ask.  Since we've been living together for awhile, it's a very smooth trasition, hahaha... or hardly any at all.  I love all the free time that we had to hang out with each other, not have to worry about school, wedding planning and stuff.

So to spice up our new marriage life, we decided to move.  We had listed our house with Kay Kim (for those who live in metro ATL area, you probably have seen her big ass billboard off I-85).  Although many people had thought she was not a real person, well, she sure did show up to my house and talk to us... which is kind of scary because she's somewhat famous in the real estate industry i guess.  Anyways, the reason I use her is because her record of selling houses and in deed, we went undercontract within 4 weeks and actually just closed this past Friday.  That lift up this huge rock off my shoulder because we were crazy enough to sign a buying contract without selling our current home.. hehehe..

We are technically homeless right now because the closing for our new home is not until this Friday.  It worked out really well that we were able to rent our old house back from the buyer for one more week.  Speaking of the new house, it is not new actually.  It is older, smaller, and heck lot more expensive than our current home.  As they said it, it's all about LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION.  I actually like where we live right now, to me, it's pretty convenient cosider we are in the new K-town, hahaha.. (Duluth = K-town).  But u know, with the new marriage and slow real estate market and everything, I think it's time to move.  We absolutely love our new home, although it's smaller, it's so nice and cute.  I cannot wait to move in and start my favorite hobby - decorating -again.  We have alot of ambitious ideas this time, and we know we will be living here for a LONG time.

It's pretty sad to say bye to the house we've been living for the past 3 and half years.  There're so much memories there, football gathering, crab feasts, pre-party for clubbing, annual x'mas party, summer cookout, baby shower, potluck, drunk people on floor and couch, etc, etc...  But, there will be more memories to be created at our new home for sure.  It sort of give us a sense of newly wed to start everything in a different house.

Once we finish moving in and settle, it will be party time!!!

So... We are Married!!

OK.  2 more weeks... esta loco~~

Feels like we still have tons of details not finalized yet.  We went to get our marriage license last friday, it cost $51 at Gwinnett County.  It's $26 if you have proven 6 hours of pre-marrital conseling.  So i know you're supposed to go to the couseling thing and it supposed to help you prepare your marriage life or whatever, but they have to make it worthwhile you know?  Basically the 6 hours conseling cost about $200 depending where you go, and you only save $25??  That doesn't calculate well in my cost-return relationship.  hahaha...  Another thing was that if you get married in the court house by a judge, it's FREE... Write that down people....  I didn't know about it either.  Oh well...

So anyways, i can't decide if i want to change my last name yet.  I know it's part of the excitement and all being married, but it seemed so odd to me to have a different last name.  It would've been nice if i was in school because they always list people's name from A to Z.  I would be in the front of the line if i have dara's last name instead of mine.  hehehe.
